Celview 3.0.1 Release Notes

Celview 3.0.1 fixes a number of bugs:

Celview Display

- crash on launch fixed (due to a corrupted alias in the preferences file).

- an occasional erratic "freeze" of a window, or the application, on the computer going to sleep is fixed. This is now a 20 second timeout.

- corruption of the preferences file, another erratic bug, is believed fixed.

- keyboard mapping bug fixed. If the shift and control keys are held down to do a keymapping by drag and drop, then the drag and drop would be of the whole key set instead of the individual key. This is fixed.

- keyboard maps for the Jan/02 TiBook and iBook are provided.

- use of the '/' character in some file names is removed, as this is not desired on X.

- the color picker buttons in the Color Settings and in creating a new quickstep pad are fixed so they reliably show their color.

5250 Tools

- a duplication of data packets sent out under certain conditions was fixed. This could be perceived by the user as a gross slowing down of the display application.

- ftp has been improved for OS/400 V4R1 and V4R2

- a window "freeze" occuring when a session document was opened and it attempted to connect automatically with the 5250 GC tool is fixed. This also affected the 3270 GC tool.

3270 Tools

- a window "freeze" occuring when a session document was opened and it attempted to connect automatically is fixed. This also affected the 5250 GC tool.
