Celview 3.0.2
is primarily a bug fix release. The bugs fixed include a crashing
bug associated with Mac OS 10.2 ("Jaguar") and 10.2.1.
Fixes:
- on Mac
OS 10.2 and 10.2.1, on some installations Celview would crash
within the first minute of being started up. This is fixed.
- also
on Mac OS X, on some installations Celview would declare inappropriately
that there were too many users for the KeyCode. This is fixed.
- macros
and clipboard formats can now be triggered from keyboard mappings
(bug fix).
- a bug
that was present on some networks, causing an inability to connect
with telnet, has been fixed.
- TN3270
would fail to operate properly with ISPF popdown menus on some
installations, and this has been fixed.
New Features:
- FTP has
had EBCDIC <-> ASCII translation added as a new feature. This
feature was already present for the PC Support and IND$FILE
file transfer methods.
- an option
has been implemented to support more fonts than just Noiro for
screen display, but currently is only provided for the adventurous.
Hold down the option key as you select the "Sessions" -> "Display"
menu item, and you will have a choice of any font for screen
display. This will not change the font used for the OIA line
and you may want to turn off "HotSpots" in the Celview Preferences.
Also, for proper display, the font must be mono-spaced and the
bold version of it must be exactly the same width as the plain
version.
